Description

10% glass-filled PTFE is a plastic composite material made from 90% PTFE and 10% glass fibres. The most popular filler for PTFE is glass fibre, which improves the material’s wear, compression and creep resistance. It has excellent electrical properties with a low coefficient of friction and non-stick properties.

The material is available in rod, tube, and sheet forms. Also available in 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and other custom blends.

Key Properties

  • Very low coefficient of friction.
  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Excellent dielectric properties.
  • Resistance to weathering
  • Self-Lubricating

Applications

10% glass-filled PTFE offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for applications that require enhanced mechanical performance without compromising chemical compatibility. The material is ideal for seals, gaskets, and structural components across a wide range of industries.
