10% polyimide-filled PTFE material offers extremely low friction, making it ideal for use in situations where no lubrication is applied. This substance does not abrade mating surfaces, even when in touch with softer materials like brass, stainless steel, aluminium, and plastic.
Polyimide (PI) is an organic polymer compound with superior overall performance. Its properties include excellent insulation, fatigue resistance, high temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, and impact resistance. However, polyimide is a costly PTFE filler, so you must consider the cost while selecting it.

10% Polyimide-Filled PTFE material wears extremely little, has little surface friction, and is tougher than standard PTFE. It is also resistant to wear, can withstand high and low temperatures, self-lubricates, and has a long service life.
Applications
In a dry friction environment, 10% polyimide-filled PTFE material has much greater wear resistance than similar products made of Ekonol-reinforced PTFE material, making it ideal for dry friction conditions in a non-corrosive environment. The material is mostly used for piston rings, rubber cups for oil-free pumps, bushings, gaskets, and other components.
