Description
Carbon packing, impregnated with PTFE, is braided from carbon fibres that are carefully impregnated with PTFE and a special lubricant. It is very tough, resists wear, has excellent chemical resistance and prevents contamination.
Applications
Carbon packing impregnated with PTFE is very popular in the pulp and paper industry. It is commonly used in valves and pumps, agitators, reactors, and autoclaves.
