Ekonol Filled PTFE Rod
We can make PTFE rods filled with 10%, 15%, and 15% Ekonol. Sizes range from 10 mm to 300 mm in diameter.
Welcome to Learning About Ekonol-Filled PTFE Rod
The Ekonol filled PTFE rod materials have excellent thermal stability along with outstanding creep resistance and excellent load-bearing capacity. These features make the materials have a long service life for bearings, seals, rotors, and related parts. And the material is resistant to high temperatures and slightly hydrophilic, so it is preferable to use it in dry environments.
Advantages
Ekonol filled PTFE rod materials have good wear and extrusion resistance, excellent load-bearing capacity, and good corrosion resistance. Ekonol® is an aromatic polyester. Ekonol gives PTFE better properties at higher temperatures, makes it more wear-resistant, and does not wear out against the steel counter material.
Application
We can use the Ekonol filled PTFE rod to make all kinds of bearings, seals, rotors, and related parts. It is often used in other industries like the chemical processing industry, vehicle construction, electronics, oil and gas, the mechanical engineering industry, the food industry, etc.
