Description
Fluorosilicone rubber gaskets are commonly used as seals for various applications. Their mechanical and physical qualities are extremely comparable to silicone rubber. They are recommended for aircraft applications because of their superior fuel resistance and high-temperature stability. Fluorosilicone is becoming a more prominent material for a variety of sealing applications.
Advantages
Fluorosilicone rubber gaskets have exceptional resistance to fuel, oil and solvents and excellent resistance to air, sunlight and ozone. They also have excellent compression set and resilience properties and are recommended for use with petroleum oil, jet fuel and mineral oils.
