Welcome to learning about G10 glass epoxy washers
The G10 glass epoxy washers are superior industrial nut washers made from continuous fibreglass cloth coated with epoxy resin. It is mainly used for electrical insulation and preventing galvanic corrosion because it is tough, absorbs little water, and has excellent dielectric properties.
G10 VS FR4
The main difference between NEMA grades G10 and FR4 is that FR4 is a flame retardant grade of G10. Therefore, G10 can be replaced by FR4, while FR4 can never be replaced by G10.
