Welcome to Learning about G11 Epoxy Insulation Sleeves
The G11 epoxy insulation sleeve is a high-performance fibreglass epoxy tube designed for heavy-duty electrical and thermal isolation. It is often found in high-voltage environments, power generation equipment, and flange isolation kits; it prevents electrical arcing, galvanic corrosion, and heat transfer.
As a premium grade under NEMA standards, EPGC22 G11 is rated as Class F (155°C) and Class H (180°C).
Advantages
The G11 epoxy insulation sleeve offers distinct physical, electrical, and thermal advantages over traditional plastics, ceramics, and other NEMA-grade laminates (like G10 or FR4). It has excellent heat resistance, continuing high-temperature resistance at 150°C, and remarkable chemical resistance and radiation resistance. It has excellent fire retardance and is rated UL 94 V-0.
Applications
Various industries, including bolt protection, chemicals, the military, medicine, and electronics, utilise the G11 epoxy insulation sleeve. It can give solid and dependable material solutions for these applications.
