This gasket consists of Inconel 625 alloy metal strips wound together with a soft filler material (like flexible graphite).
Description
The INC625 spiral wound gasket has a high-performance Inconel 625 alloy metal winding. It is designed for extremely high pressure, high temperature, and corrosive industrial applications. The Inconel 625 provides high strength and outstanding aqueous resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.
The filler materials with INC625 are often PTFE, graphite, and mica.
