Description
IX seal ring gaskets are solid metal profiled rings and are often supplied with a corrosion-resistant coating. They are for compact flange connections in high-pressure, critical service environments like oil and gas applications. Mainly built to NORSOK L-005 and ISO 27509 specifications for compact flanged connections.
The coating material is often 10 µm to 30 µm thick PTFE. The PTFE colors are yellow, black, and blue when used for different metal materials.
