Neoprene Rubber Gaskets

We have different grades of neoprene to meet your needs. Buy neoprene rubber gaskets at low cost from us. High quality with short delivery time.

Description

Neoprene rubber gaskets are versatile seals that withstand weather, ozone, and moderate chemicals. These gaskets can withstand refrigerants, ammonia, silicone oils, water, ozone, sunshine, vegetable oils, alcohols, and low-pressure oxygen. They are available in a variety of conventional colours and durometers, ranging from 40 to 90.

Chloroprene rubber is sometimes known as neoprene. This synthetic material combines chemical resistance, flexibility, and a broad temperature range.

Advantages

Neoprene rubber gaskets are extremely resistant to weathering effects such as ozone, UV radiation, and oxidation, making them particularly useful in outdoor installations and exposed situations. Their temperature range of roughly -40°C to +110°C allows them to maintain flexibility and sealing integrity in both cold and hot conditions.

Furthermore, these gaskets are simple to install, handle, and replace and are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes. Furthermore, the comparatively low production cost of neoprene rubber makes the o-rings extremely inexpensive.

Limitations

While neoprene rubber gaskets work well in various applications, there are certain restrictions to consider.

  • Not tolerant of aromatic hydrocarbons.
  • Susceptible to chlorinated hydrocarbons.
  • Not resistant to benzene.
  • Not suited to glycol brake fluid.
  • Not resistant to ketones.
  • Not suited to polar solvents.
  • Not suited to esters.
  • Not resistant to ethers.
  • Not resistant to trichloroethylene.

Applications

The flexibility, durability, and low cost of neoprene rubber gaskets make them excellent for outdoor applications, HVAC systems, and general industrial sealing. Whether used in water treatment or structural joints, they deliver consistent performance in changing conditions. These gaskets are reliable seals in static systems, thanks to their exceptional performance under changing conditions.
