Description
Red glass-filled PTFE rods, tubes and sheets are plastic composite materials made from PTFE and glass fibre (typically 5% to 25%). The addition of glass fibre improves structural integrity and significantly reduces creep and cold flow compared to virgin PTFE. The red colour is the result of red pigment added to PTFE.
Other colours, such as blue, green, and yellow, are also available.
