SS316L RX Ring Joint Gasket
The Style RX gasket is designed to fit the same groove design as a standard style R, making joints interchangeable.
Description
The SS316L RX ring joint gasket is a metal seal with an octagonal shape that is pressure-energised. It is made for piping flanges that experience high pressure and high vibration. RX-type gaskets have a slightly increased height and leverage the internal system pressure to energise and improve the seal as the internal pressure rises. It is engineered for high-pressure systems ranging from 2,000 PSI up to 5,000 PSI.
Our gasket complies with ASME B16.20 and API 6A. Carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel are the most commonly used materials.
