We design the SULON 2204 PTFE sheet with glass microspheres for use in low bolt-loaded irregular flanges. Typical flanges include glass-lined, ceramic-plastic-coated, or unevenly distorted flanges. It is suitable for sealing all chemicals across the whole pH range, except for molten alkali metals, fluorine, or hydrogen fluoride.

The usual stock sizes are 1.6 mm, 2 mm, and 3.2 mm in the blue color. Our SULON 2204 PTFE is equal to Garlock GYLON® Style 3504, Sigma 500, and Teadit TF1570.

Advantages
