What is PTFE Sheet with Barium Sulfate Filler?
SULON 2210 PTFE sheet with barium sulfate filler is made from pure PTFE blended with barium sulfate in sheet form. It performs better than traditional PTFE and has outstanding chemical resistance. Additionally, it is an excellent general-purpose grade PTFE for sealing applications across the whole pH spectrum. It can be used to create a variety of seals and gaskets.
The Garlock GYLON® Style 3510, Sigma 533, and Teadit TF1580 filled PTFE sheet are equivalent to our SULON 2210.
Advantages and Benefits
PTFE sheet with barium sulfate filler has high density and minimum cold flow properties. It has outstanding dimensional stability under thermal stress and resistance to wear and abrasion.
Application
PTFE sheet with barium sulfate filler is suitable for strong caustic fluids. It meets FDA conformance for service within food and pharmaceutical applications. And SULON 2210 can be used in a wide range of applications due to its vast resistance to most chemical products. It is compatible with strong acids along with strong caustics, making it the most diverse material within the PTFE family.
